ROBINS EASE PHONES TO FIRST DEFEAT

Chard Town's James Boyland starred as the Robins recorded a 3-2 win, ending our perfect start to the campaign.

A third-minute own-goal put Chard in front, before Boyland jumped on an error from the Phones back-line to double the lead after just ten minutes. The home side came out firing in the second half, and got themselves back into the game in the 59th minute when Leon Britton headed home. The game’s second own-goal got the home side back on level terms, but ten minutes from time Boyland fired home a 25-yard screamer to grab all three points for Town.
